Welschnofen Carezza in the Dolomites, the holiday region for the most beautiful time of the year!

Welschnofen Carezza is located in the Eggental valley, in South Tyrol, and can be reached via the well-known Dolomite Road.


Welschnofen, with its approx. 1,900 residents, extends over an altitude of 850 to 2,842 m above sea level. The municipal area includes the mountain village of Welschnofen and the area around the legendary alpine lake Karersee, which extends with its alpine meadows and high forests to the Dolomite massifs Rosengarten and Latemar.

Welschnofen is also located on the slopes of the highest wooded hill in Europe, the so-called "Talt". The 1,756 m high hill can be reached on foot as well as by mountain bike directly from the village of Welschnofen!
